Gloriamus School of Music was established on accound of developing a symphony orchestra for church music ministry, be it in Gereja Kristus Yesus ( GKY ) or in other churches. It set out to be a leading music school that provides holistic nurture for young to adult musical talents.

Gloriamus School of Music was founded on January 20, 1991 on the pre-eminent need of developing a symphony orchestra for church music in Gereja Kristus Yesus as well as delivering music education to nurture musical talents among a wide range of age.

As an institution, Gloriamus School of Music has its own students and therefore serves as a permanent longtime source of musician candidates for the growth of church music.
We believe that a high standard musicianship is among what will cautiously keep the continuous existence of church music in a discerning progress throughout the years to come.
